Instagram and Facebook: The Biggest Scams in the World?

If you are a content creator or an influencer on Instagram or Facebook, you might have felt
frustrated and disappointed by the lack of engagement, growth and revenue that you get from
these platforms. You might have spent hours creating, posting and sharing your content, hoping
to get more followers, likes and comments. You might have followed the advice of some
experts or gurus who claim to teach you how to grow and earn six or seven figures on social
media. You might have paid a lot of money for their courses, webinars or coaching sessions,
only to find out that they are not working for you.

You are not alone. Many people are struggling with the same problems. They are trapped in a
cycle of creating and consuming content that does not add any value to their lives or careers.
They are wasting their time, energy and money on platforms that do not care about them or
their passions. They are being exploited by the algorithms that favor the celebrities, the
advertisers and the scammers.

The truth is, Instagram and Facebook are the biggest scams in the world. They are designed to
make you addicted to their platforms, to keep you scrolling and clicking, to make you feel
insecure and inadequate, to make you compare yourself with others, to make you buy things
that you don’t need, to make you chase after unrealistic goals and dreams.

They are not here to help you. They are here to make money from you.
They don’t care about your content quality, your creativity, your originality, your authenticity,
your personality, your message, your vision, your mission, your purpose.
They only care about your data, your attention, your engagement, your clicks, your views, your
shares, your likes.
They only care about their profits.

So what can you do?
You can stop playing their game. You can stop falling for their tricks. You can stop giving them
your power.
You can start focusing on yourself. You can start working on your skills. You can start honing
your craft. You can start mastering your art.
You can start living your dreams. You can start taking action on your goals. You can start making
decisions that align with your values. You can start prioritizing your happiness.
You can start creating content that matters to you. Content that expresses who you are.
Content that inspires others. Content that makes a difference.
You can start building relationships that matter to you. Relationships that support you.
Relationships that challenge you. Relationships that grow with you.
You can start finding platforms that matter to you. Platforms that respect you. Platforms that
reward you. Platforms that empower you.
You can start making money that matters to you. Money that reflects your worth. Money that
supports your lifestyle. Money that enables your freedom.
You can do all these things without Instagram or Facebook.
You don’t need them.
You only need yourself.

This is my opinion based on my own experiences as a Bollywood enthusiast who has been trying to make it big on Instagram for years without any success. I have been frustrated by the lack of response from PR agencies who want me to promote their content for free. I have been disappointed by the lack of recognition from the Bollywood industry who don’t see my value as a creator or an influencer. I have been unable to pay my bills because of my passion for Bollywood.

Realizing Instagram’s limitations in supporting my goals and purpose, I aspire for this article to inspire readers in making informed decisions for themselves.

Thank you for reading.
